1. Introduction
At Grihspace Solutions, we provide customized interior design, painting, furniture, and home improvement services. Due to the personalized and project-based nature of our work, refunds are subject to the terms outlined below.
2. Nature of Services
Our services involve:
- Customized design and planning
- Made-to-order furniture
- Site-based execution
- Procurement of materials
As costs are incurred at multiple stages, refunds are limited and conditional.
3. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be considered only if:
- The project is cancelled before it has started
- No major materials have been procured
- Minimal or no work has been completed
- Cancellation is communicated in writing
All refund requests are subject to review and approval by Grihspace Solutions.
4. Deductions Applicable
If a refund is approved, the following costs will be deducted:
- Design and consultation charges
- Site visit charges
- Work completed up to the cancellation date
- Materials purchased, ordered, or reserved
- Labor and operational expenses
5. Advance Payments & Confirmation Amount
A project confirmation amount is required to initiate work and allocate resources.
- If the project is cancelled within 48 hours of confirmation AND before the project has started, 50% of the confirmation amount will be refunded.
- If the project is cancelled after 48 hours AND before the project has started, the confirmation amount will be non-refundable.
- No refund will be applicable once the project has started, regardless of the timeline.
Planning, design, and resource allocation begin immediately after confirmation.
6. Definition of Project Start
The project will be considered started when any of the following occurs:
- Site execution or on-site work begins
- Design work, drawings, or layouts are initiated
- Materials are ordered or procured
- Labor or resources are assigned to the project
7. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be applicable in the following cases:
- Work has already started
- Custom materials or furniture have been manufactured or ordered
- Design has been finalized and approved
- Cancellation or delay is caused by the client
- Change of mind after project initiation
- Failure to provide timely approvals or site access
8. Project-Based Refund Terms (Final Authority)
Refund terms may vary depending on the project. Final refund terms mentioned in the project quotation or agreement shall be considered final and binding.
9. Cancellation & Refund Relationship
- Cancellation must be communicated in writing
- Refund eligibility depends on the project stage
- Higher project progress = lower refund eligibility
10. Refund Processing Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–15 business days. Processing time may vary depending on banking systems and payment methods.
11. Mode of Refund
Refunds will be issued through:
- Original mode of payment, OR
- Any mutually agreed method
12. Delays & Non-Completion
Refunds will not be applicable for delays caused by:
- Client-side delays
- Site readiness issues
- Approval delays
- External factors beyond control
13. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising out of or related to refunds or services:
- Both parties agree to first attempt resolution through mutual discussion
- If unresolved, the matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pune and Delhi NCR, India
- All disputes shall be governed by the laws of India

Grihspace Solutions reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
